Dr Gounden is the Non-Executive Chairman of the HolGoun Group of which he is the founder. Dr Gounden was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Bateman Engineering N.V., where he was responsible for the listing of Bateman Engineering N.V. on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. He also has over the last 10 years served as a Non-Executive Director of Optimum Coal, Lonmin Plc, Grindrod Limited and Anglo American SA. Prior to that, he was the Director-General of the Department of Public Enterprises, where he was responsible for the listing of Telkom SA on the New York Stock Exchange Inc and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. He presently holds directorships in Samancor, various HolGoun Group of Companies and Daly Credit Corporation. Dr Gounden graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Durban-Westville and holds a Ph.D. degree in engineering from the University of Natal. |

Vanessa Gounden is the Chief Executive Officer of the HolGoun Group as well as the Chairperson of the HolGoun Development Trust. Vanessa was formally the VP Customer Services at South African Airways and GM Human Resources at the National Intelligence Agency. Amongst her many HolGoun Group directorships she also holds a directorship in Samancor and Daly Credit Corporation. She has been actively involved in community work for many years and sat on the board of the Chatsworth Child & Family Welfare Society. Vanessa holds a B.Tech Honours degree in Human Resources from Pretoria University.

Anastasia Maimonis is a qualified attorney and Notary. Anastasia is currently the Head of Business Development and head of fashion for the HolGoun Group. Anastasia joined Jowell Glyn & Marais Inc. (now Glyn Marais Inc.) as a candidate attorney in 1999 and was made a partner of the firm in 2005. Her practice was mainly in the corporate, mergers and acquisitions areas and extended to a broad range of company and commercial work including mergers and acquisitions, schemes of arrangement, take-overs, listings, black economic empowerment transactions, and general commercial work; including financial instruments, exchange control and stock exchange related matters. Anastasia holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degrees from Wits University. |

Mike Nell is currently the Head of HolGoun Mining. Mike is a qualified metallurgist with 30 years experience in the mining and mineral processing industry. He obtained a NHDT Extraction Metallurgy at the Witwatersrand Technikon in 1981, completed an MDP with Unisa in 1989. He is also a fellow member of the SAIMM. Mike has experience in the management and development of Greenfields projects in the uranium, precious metal and base metal industries. |

Kevin Francis is currently the Head of HolGoun Healthcare. Kevin has 18 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in both public and private sectors. He formerly held key management positions in Pfizer, Abbott and Sanofi-Aventis. Kevin holds a B.Sc Degree from University of Kwa Zulu Natal. |

Theodora is the Group Company Secretary. Theodora is a Qualified Lawyer and has obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and joined HolGoun in 2006 shortly after completing her articles. Apart from her responsibility as the Group Company Secretary, Theodora is also the HolGoun Development Trust Administrator. |

Chris has 23 years experience in mining rights and property management having being employed by Gold Fields of South Africa as a mining rights officer from 1985 to the end of 2000 and by Ridge Mining as mineral rights manager thereafter until joining HolGoun in 2007.

Reuben Mawela is currently the Marketing Manager for HolGoun Healthcare. Reuben has 13 years experience in the healthcare industry in both public and private sector his key expertise being in the Sales & Key accounts management. He was formally Sales Director at Sisonke Pharma - BEE company of Sanofi-Aventis. Reuben holds a Diploma in Sales and Marketing.

Chris van Zyl has 17 years experience in both the education training and development field safety and security environment. Learning programmes which Chris developed include, the National Certificate: Policing (NQF level 5), the National Certificate Close Protection (NQF level 5) and the National Certificate: Resolving Crime (NQF Level 5).Chris holds a B.Tech degree in Policing and is currently busy with a Masters Degree. Chris is also a certified firearms instructor with the National Rifle Association of America, The South African Firearms Training Institute and the Security Firearms School. However, his skills is not limited to the Education Training and Development field, he is also competent in the fields of business engineering and strategic management. The driving force behind his passion for training and management is his passion for security and crime prevention.

Vishen Persadh is currently the Group Financial Manager. Vishen has a broad spectrum of corporate experience after holding position as Financial Manager for large manufacturing organisations to a blue chip retail group. He has successfully completed the accreditation exams in the financial services industry and is also certified to chair disciplinary enquiries. Vishen holds a BCompt degree through UNISA and has completed his articles through a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants. |
